The Speed Meetings at DocsBarcelona are professional networking sessions designed to connect documentary filmmakers with funders, co-producers, and other industry experts. Each meeting lasts approximately 15 minutes, allowing for concise project presentations and strategic connections. The call is open to projects from any country, provided they are documentaries or non-fiction series in development, pre-production, production, or with financing gaps. Short films and completed projects are not accepted.

Applications for the 2025 edition open on December 10, 2024, and close on January 27, 2025, at 23:59 CEST. The meetings will take place in Barcelona from May 12 to 16, 2025, during the intensive sessions of the DocsBarcelona Industry Forum. This initiative aims to provide funding, co-production, and mentorship opportunities, helping participants maximize collaboration and professional growth within the documentary industry.

The Co‑Production Pitch at the Seriencamp Conference 2026 is aimed at production companies seeking partners and international funding for their fiction series. Projects must be partially financed and have a minimum of four planned episodes, excluding animation, documentaries, and children’s series. The call accepts international submissions and offers the chance to present projects to executives, producers, broadcasters, and streaming platforms.

Applications are open until January 28, 2026, and live pitches will take place on June 9–10, 2026 in Cologne, Germany. Selected projects participate in a live pitching session and may be included in the Digital Story Exchange, a professional networking platform that allows creators to connect with the industry prior to the event. Dot.on.the.Map Meeting Point is an industry call that takes place within Dot.on.the.Map Industry Days, as part of the Cyprus Film Days International Festival in Cyprus. It is aimed at feature-length fiction film projects in development and financing stages, with a strong focus on international co-production and professional networking.

The call is open to international projects, mainly from Mediterranean countries across Europe, Africa, and Asia. Eligible projects must have both a director and a producer attached and a maximum budget of two million euros. Only fiction projects are accepted, and completed films are not eligible.

The Meeting Point operates as a co-production and pitching forum, offering project presentations, one-to-one meetings, training activities, and networking opportunities with key film industry professionals. Between six and ten projects are selected to participate on-site.

The submission period runs from December 17, 2025, to January 27, 2026. The Meeting Point will take place in person from April 23 to April 25, 2026.

Script Lab is a category within the documentary project development laboratory at DOC.LAB Coimbra 2026, held in Coimbra, Portugal. This call focuses on feature documentary projects in development that need to work on story argument and core texts, without participating in a pitch session. Applications are open until January 23, 2026 and the lab will take place in person from March 16 to 20, 2026. The call is international, welcoming projects from any country, and submissions may be in English or Portuguese as appropriate. Script Lab emphasizes scriptwriting and treatment development, with dedicated tutors and individual sessions to advance project texts. Selected participants also have opportunities to schedule meetings with industry professionals attending the festival. This format supports filmmakers in deepening narrative development and strengthening their documentary proposals at an early stage.

The Producers Showcase at the European Film Market (EFM) 2026 is aimed at Spanish producers with prior experience in international co-production and distribution, particularly in Europe. Eligible companies must have produced at least three feature films of any genre or format (fiction, documentary, or animation). The application deadline is January 23, 2026, and selections will be announced by late January. Five producers will be chosen to participate in the Showcase and networking activities at the EFM during Berlinale 2026, though market accreditation must be obtained separately.

Selected participants may receive travel and accommodation support of up to €1,500 per person. All pitches and professional meetings will be conducted in English, requiring strong language proficiency. Registration is free, and selected projects will be featured on official ICAA and ICEX channels. The call is national only, open exclusively to Spanish production companies, and accepts only advanced development feature film projects of any genre.
