Andrés Alejandro Jofré nació en Santiago de Chile el 8 de abril de 1996. Su amor por el cine lo llevó a estudiar Comunicación Audiovisual en el Instituto Profesional Santo Tomás. Sus grandes influencias en el séptimo arte provienen del cine estadounidense el cual potenció su fuerte atracción por la dirección. Ñiquen es su primer cortometraje, en él experimentó con el género fantástico, demostrando una gran versatilidad y proyección.

Andrés Alejandro Jofré was born on April 8, 1996 in Santiago de Chile. His love for cinema inspired him to study Audiovisual Communications at Instituto profesional Santo Tomas. His biggest role models come from American cinema, which strengthened his convictions to pursue directing. Ñiquen is his debut short film, in which he experimented with a mixture of different film genres, that helped show off his great versatility and projection.
