Tampere Film Festival, founded in 1968, is an international short film festival that gathers filmmakers, students and film lovers together annually in March.
Tampere Film Festival is one of the largest short film festivals in Europe.
The festival screenings and events attract approx. 30,000 visitors. Nearly 800 accredited film industry professionals attend the festival. The festival screens roughly 400 films in more than a hundred screenings.
The Tampere 53rd International Short Film Festival takes place between 8–12 March, 2023.

The festival audience can vote for their favorite films in the National, International and the Generation XYZ Competitions.
