The direction of the BCN Sports Film Festival informs about the development plan for the 11th edition of the BCN Sports Film.
On the occasion of COVID-19, security measures, capacity and presence in spaces such as museums, cinemas, projection rooms, etc. have been seriously affected. For this reason, the following determination has been made from the direction of the BCN Sports Film Festival:
*The eleventh edition of the BCN Sports Film Festival and its fantastic programme will take place from the 18th to the 24th of January 2021 in the following venues:
- Olympic and Sports Museum Joan Antoni Samaranch,
- Sala Àmbit Cultural El Corte Inglés – Portal de l’Àngel
- Community center El Sortidor
- Sports Studies Center and Museum Dr Melcior Colet
- Cinema Girona
*The BCN Sports Film venues have achieved a level of ‘normality’ suitable for the smooth running of the festival.
*During these dates the winners of the 11th edition of the BCN Sports Film Festival will also be known.
* All sessions, physical space and virtual sessions (FESTHOME /*BCNSportsFilm platform) are free.
Moreover, this edition of the festival includes a new section: Sport – Stay Home. A section of the BCN Sports Film Festival dedicated to short films created during the lockdown as a result of the COVID-19.
All sessions will be free of charge.

Short films carried out during the confinement as a result of COVID-19. The Coronavirus has forced to the world population to stay at home. One of the most frequent activities to spend time was the audiovisual production. A short exhibition of these materials reached an extraordinary award called ’Sport-Stay Home’.
