The Human Rights Film Festival Brazil is an international festival of short films of up to 25 minutes that address the theme of Human Rights in their plot. Whether it is the fight to guarantee the rights of humanity or denouncing disrespect for these universal rights.

All those selected will receive a Laurel with the words “Film in Defense of Human Rights”.

All those selected will be displayed on our own online website with more than 300 boosts.

All those selected will be shown in a Cinema Room on a widely publicized festive date with at least 500 spectators in person.

Online viewers will vote and choose the BEST SHORT in the categories: DOCUMENTARY, ANIMATION AND FICTION, and each one will receive (via mail) a Trophy and Certificate

Viewers of the in-person session will vote and choose the BEST SHORT FILM OF THE FESTIVAL, where all films will compete regardless of their categories.

The winning film will receive a special trophy and will be automatically selected for the Brazilian Human Rights Film Festival of the following year (2025) and will be attended by 1 (one) representative with all expenses paid.

Any short film of up to 25 minutes in length can participate, coming from any location and made by professionals, producers, institutes or students, aimed at adults or children, in any language, but which addresses the fight for human rights in its central story. , actions to value these rights or denounce disrespect for them.

ATTENTION. It is mandatory to send subtitles in English, even if the film is spoken in English.
