Getafe en Corto is a short film festival organized by Comunidad Getafe Media.

It will be held on April 11, 12 and 13, 202, at 7:00 p.m., in the Auditorium of the La Alhóndiga Civic Center

Jury Award for Best Short Film.

Jury Award - for Best Direction.

Jury Award - fur Best Performance.

Premio del Jurado - Mejor Cortometraje Internacional.

Audience Award.

Short films that meet these requirements may participate:

1. Short films of a duration never exceeding 20 minutes will be accepted.

2. The short films sent to Getafe en Corto must have been produced after January 2019.

3. Short films of all themes and genres are allowed.

4. The short films submitted must have been produced in Spain.

5. All the selected works will compete for the Jury Award for Best Getafe Short Film. This prize will consist of a statuette of "La Chavela".

6. All the selected works will compete for the Jury Award - for Best Direction.

7. The Jury Award for Best Performance is sponsored by the publisher Unrated Comics, which will offer a batch of comics and novels to the actor or actress who wins this award.

8. More than one short film can be submitted.

9. Participation implies acceptance of the above rules, the interpretation and application of which corresponds to the organization.

10. As a necessary requirement for the selection, the assistance of at least one member of the team is requested to present the short.

11. Whoever owns the rights to the short film authorizes the free reproduction of images and inserts (max. 1 minute) of their short film in the press, television and publications in the promotion of Getafe en Corto.

12. A registration fee of €2.50 will be charged for the reception of each short film.

13. Any change in these bases due to error or omission will be made public immediately and will have retroactive value.

14. It will be an accessible festival for people with hearing problems, so subtitles in Spanish are appreciated for each short film sent.

1. Getafe en Corto is a short film festival that will be held on May, 4, 5 and 6, 2023 at the Auditorium of the Alhóndiga Civic Center (Getafe). Calle Jilguero, 1, 28904 Getafe, Madrid

2. The short films must be sent through the Festhome platform.
