17FILMS - IMPACTFILM FESTIVAL for Sustainable Development ()

The Impactfilm Festival for Sustainable Development inspires people to act in a sustainable and more responsible way. This is based on the 17 sustainability goals agreed by the United Nations in the Agenda 2030 for the transformation of our world.

Creative and emotional impact films (short spots of 17-170 seconds) are produced for the festival, which reach a broad audience. After the online voting and jury evaluation, the Impactfilm Award 2020 for the best films will be presented on November 14, 2020 in Munich.

Films must be submitted in German language or have German subtitles.

Besides the infinite gratitude of the 17FILMS team, society and the earth for your efforts, there is also prize money to be won:

1st prize: 1717€
2nd price: 1017€
3rd price: 517€

Audience Award: 1017€

The films produced for 17FILMS should basically deal with the advertised topic. The entire festival is under the over-theme "IMPACTFILM". By an IMPACTFILM we understand a film that creates visibility for socially relevant engagement and thus works for a sustainable transformation of the world.

Films with anti-constitutional, pornographic or violence-glorifying content as well as content that serves to discriminate against minorities are excluded from the competition.


The finished IMPACTFILM should be between 17 and 170 seconds long. Opening credits and closing credits are excluded. Films that do not adhere to the length specifications will not be submitted to the jury for evaluation and can therefore not be considered.
